What Is A True Couple … ?

I think that many people will answer that a true couple is one that never has a dispute or gets upset. But if that is the measurement that we use to define perfect we will never be able to attain it.

My husband and I have a "perfect" marriage. A perfect relationship, however, is not a relationship where there is never an argument or you never get upset. A perfect relationship is illustrated by the speed with which, despite disputes, things quickly return to normal. A real relationship withstands any storm and is strengthened from it through greater understanding.

A beautiful relationship is balanced and understanding, a relationship where the partner does not take your words for judgment or negative criticism, but a way to open your eyes to problems in order to solve them.

I remain confident and convinced that strong honest relationships still exist, you just have to have the right person. ❤
